I really only considered myself to be a "Scrapbooker" but in January 2008 I went to work for a friend at her stamp store CRAFTY CAPERS and soon learned how much fun it could be to incorporate stamps into my paper crafts and now its an obsession.

Everybody knows what the first Saturday of October means..... it is World Card Day !! I knew that if I didnt make sure I made something I would have my butt kicked by all my crafty friends .... *lol* I purchased a stamp earlier this year by High Hopes called "Snow Yummy" with the poem "Snowman Soup". I had often heard the poem but to have it in rubber ..wow... I knew right away I needed these stamps and I also knew I had to make "Snowman Soup" for my Guiding friends here in Springhill. The big question was how was I going to present this .... *sigh*.Well lovely Lacey created a sketch for this weeks High Hopes Challenge ... so I jumped completely out of my comfort zone, made something that was not a card ... and still tried to follow Lacey's sketch. I'm really pleased at how everything turned out.
