"My Friend"
I purchased this stamp from Crafty Capers before I left BC (PB Water Lily Skiing) .... I just couldn't resist this cute little guy !!!
My image is stamped on white card stock, then colored with tombows. I added glossy accents to the lily pad and butterfly. I cut out just around the lily pad and mounted on card stock ( I used my divine swirls embossing folder for dimension)My circles were cut using my nestabilities, then I embellished with Prima Flower and Dew Drops.

Penny Black Saturday Challenge
Here it is, my very first challenge card. I choose to participate in the Penny Black Saturday Challenge simply because Penny Black is my absolute favorite company (every image is just so darn cute !!). This weeks challenge was #36 - a Sketch by Nat and what fun it was!!
Hope you enjoy my card.

Another Birthday
I made this one for my mother-in-laws birthday (it's not until March, but I like to be prepared)
I used my cupcake set by Inkadinkado Clear Rubber Stamps. I love this set, its just so cute. I stamped my image on white cardstock but decided not to color the cupcake, rather I used stickles to outline. I stamped the cherry seperate, colored then attached with a pop dot.
I matted my image then attached to my main card, added some ribbon I had and then embellished with prima flowers (the centers are stickles).

Thinking of You
I went searching yesterday to find an image to make this card for a friend back in British Columbia .I was looking for something that was not Penny Black ...lol... it seems I lean heavy to Penny Black and have very little otherwise. Anyways I think this turned out pretty good!
I'm absolutely loving my core'dinations cardstock (thanks Vic!!) It's so nice to work with. I stamped my three images on white cardstock, colored using my tombows, then added glossy accents to the flowers and butterflies. I used my birds and swirls cuttlebug folder for my co-ordinating cardstock, cut out my three images and used pop dots to attach. I then embellished with ribbon, prima flowers and dew drops.
I hope you enjoy!!!
Happy Birthday
Happy Birthday Honey!!
Ok I'm getting a little ahead of myself since Steve's Birthday isn't until March but this was one of the cards I did during my "stress time", while Papa was sick.
Penny Black (Behave) may very well be a little "cutsie" for a man but I just couldn't resist this guy (and besides with 3 puppies we call our kids, its perfect!)
I loved coloring him -used my tombows, matted my image on a piece of scrap cardstock (yippee for scraps!) then to the main card, added a border using glitter glitz (from Crafty Capers) and voila ....

Nap Time
Another image from one of my favorite companies .... Penny Black (Nap Time).
I stamped my main image on white cardstock and colored my hedgie using twinkling H2O's and my tombows then highlighted the daisies with stickles. I mounted this image on a scrap piece of card stock and used my Swiss Dots cuttlebug folder. I then added ribbon and again mounted on a coordinating piece of cardstock, then to the main card
Death leaves a Heartache
Ok here it goes .... my first post.
On February 2nd 2009 my Papa Jack passed away so I found that sympathy set I bought shoved in the back of the storage drawer. It's the type of card you never want to make but I needed it to be very special. I wanted something simple but yet elegant... I think I achieved that. I'm very pleased with how this card turned out.
I used direct to rubber for my image, then used my nestibilities to enhance the main image, embellished with some Prima flowers and finished with my new kaiser pearls (copper).
